Créer du CHANGEMENT dans notre Région
The Wood Buffalo Family Violence Coordinating Council (WBFVCC) began in 2004 in response to the
Alberta Roundtable on Family Violence and Bullying - Finding Solutions Together.
Over the years much work was done by the committee to address the following key areas of action: social change, provincial leadership, collaborative and coordinated community response, services and supports and accountability. In 2022, the WBFVCC is a collaborative partnership of multiple agencies working together to support our region’s ability to recognize, respond and prevent family and sexual violence and bullying.

NOTRE VISION
Notre vision est de créer une communauté sûre et saine exempte de violence familiale et sexuelle en utilisant une approche d'impact collectif.
OBJECTIFS DE LA FVCC
L e WBFVCC renforcera la capacité de notre communauté à aborder et à prévenir la violence familiale et sexuelle et l'intimidation dans la municipalité régionale de Wood Buffalo.
Le WBFVCC développera une réponse collaborative et coordonnée à la violence et à l'intimidation familiales et sexuelles.
Cela se fera par une approche de partenariat communautaire qui s'engagera à soutenir le développement d'actions locales de prévention de la violence familiale et sexuelle.
Le WBFVCC travaillera avec Impact Alberta pour créer un impact collectif afin de mettre fin à la violence familiale et sexuelle et à l'intimidation dans notre région et notre province.
Le FVCC de Wood Buffalo est un partenariat collaboratif d'organismes qui soutiennent la capacité de notre région à prévenir,
reconnaître et répondre à la violence familiale et sexuelle et à l'intimidation.
Member Agencies
The Family Violence Coordinating Council (FVCC) is an organic collective comprised of approximately 20 community partners whose purpose is to identify and support high-impact opportunities, share knowledge and influence norms, practices, programs and policies related to family violence, sexual violence and bullying education, prevention and intervention across the lifespan.
